Secure Data Management Launch Dedicated Shredding Service

Today Secure Data Management officially launched its new dedicated shredding service. This new department will offer a number of highly secure document shredding solutions, combined with the professionalism and cost efficiency that Secure Data Management continue to provide their archive and document storage clients.

After trialling this service with a number of their current clients at the beginning of 2011, a recent analysis of the trial has revealed that the service has been well received with clients being thrilled with the service levels and cost savings achieved. As a result, Secure Data Management decided to roll out a number of secure shredding services, which it will offer in addition to its archive storage and document management solutions.

Shredding Solutions Offered:

Regular Scheduled Service

Regular scheduled services provide businesses with a dependable shredding solution to collect sensitive waste paper at pre-agreed intervals, saving your company valuable time in arranging collections. As part of the regular scheduled service, Secure Data Management will provide a secure lockable waste paper console for your office, which will be emptied by a fully vetted Secure Data Management employee and destroyed in accordance with data protection legislation. As with all SDM shredding services, once all sensitive materials are destroyed, destruction certificates will be delivered for your compliance records.

Ad Hoc collections

In much the same way as the SDM regular scheduled service operates, the ad hoc shredding service provides companies with smaller or variable shredding requirements, a collection service on an Ad Hoc basis when necessary. To arrange a collection simply contact your dedicated account manager who will schedule a suitable time for your collection.

File Audit Destruction

For a number of years Secure Data Management have provided file audits for their clients allowing them to determine which files can be destroyed. This allows business’s to reduce the necessity for storage, by auditing individual files to determine age and/or requirement. Secure Data Management now offer this service to all London based businesses offering to save them up to 50% on their document storage needs.
